B.R.A.V.E stands for Bold Resistance Against Violence Everywhere and it is a program for youth ages 6-24 from different schools and communities to come together to promote peace and change. Click here for more information about BRAVE.

The Brave youth leaders along with Father Pfleger led the march to shut down the 79th Dan Ryan. They did not back down from the threats given to them by the state police. They marched in protest against gun violence and their equal opportunity to better schools, jobs and resources in their communities. The youth is sick and tired of being neglected by elected officials when they are the ones who need to help the communities they promised to work for. If we don't get it, SHUT IT DOWN!

I Care month:

I Care Month is an annual program and campaign that B.R.A.V.E puts on where we have may different events for our youth to participate in during the spring time. These events include, a social justice summit, talent show, peace for hoops basketball game, and an anti-violence rally. All the events are youth led and happen throughout the year as well.

End of the school year March

This end of school year march is held by St. Sabina annually but the B.R.A.VE Youth Leaders help lead this march. This year B.R.A.V.E. walked with the Parkland youth survivors in protest to gun violence everywhere. They put themselves at the front of the march to represent the power that youth can have in bringing about change.

The only way to make a difference is to empower the next generation. Starting with the story of Terrell Bosley, a Chicago youth that lost his life due to senseless gun violence, his brother Trevon takes us through his journey during the March For Our Lives initiative.

20-year-old Trevon Bosley has been a B.R.A.V.E. Youth activist since 2010 and continues to impact the lives of the people around him, both young and old.

Meet Ke'Shon (BRAVE youth leader), Liv, and Kayla - three high school students from Chicago and Parkland who share their stories of gun violence and implore us to join them in the fight for gun safety in our communities and at the ballot box.

Tre Bosley lost his brother Terrell when he was mistakenly shot by a gang member while helping a friend take drums into a church.

Tre Bosley, a native of Chicago whose brother was a victim of gun violence, asked President Obama for his advice to kids growing up in areas surrounded by poverty and gun violence.
